Instructions for use
 | First clean your instrument with a good polish recommended by your
manufacturer, |
 | Peel the Alternative Pickguard from the card and lay it on your
instrument where desired, starting at one end and smooth it on using a
soft cloth. |
 | If you experience some bubbles under the guard, simply peel it up
and smooth it back down until they disappear. You can also use some low
heat from a blow dryer to make the material more manageable. |
 | If your Alternative Pickguard is placed on wrong or misaligned,
simply peel it off and replace it again. |
 | Alternative Pickguards will not work with satin finishes, they
require a glossy finish in order to work properly. |
 | Alternative Pickguards have been known to react chemically with
water based and Nitro finishes over extended periods of time. It is
recommended that you remove the pick guard when not in use and store it
on the original card. They do not have any noticeable effect on
polyurethane or lacquer finishes in tests of over one year. |
 | Alternative Pickguards can be cleaned with a soft cloth and guitar
polish or tough grime can removed with alcohol and a soft cloth, then
dried immediately. |
 | Alternative Pickguards are guaranteed for 90 days against defects in
materials and workmanship. Simply return it for a full replacement. |
